Qualifications

• Associates degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation support experience in a Washington law firm or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and legal research platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client intake documents and authorization forms.
• Prepare and file case initiation documents (complaints, summonses, civil cover sheets) ensuring deadlines are met.
• Draft Proofs of Service and ensure proper filing with court.
• Maintain accurate case matrices and service lists; prepare and e-file documents.
• Track deadlines, hearings, and service windows; coordinate virtual or in-person hearings.
• Oversee and train Legal Assistants; supervise filing and service processes.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and opposing counsel; manage invoices and expenses.
