WHC Energy Services, LLC in Lafayette, LA, seeks a Paralegal to support the Legal and Contracts function on construction and energy infrastructure projects. You will assist with contract lifecycle, document control, and compliance in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a paralegal diploma and 10+ years in legal support, with strong MS Office skills and experience handling MSAs, subcontracts, and service agreements. Travel to project sites may be required.

Formación

• Paralegal diploma or certificate, or equivalent legal/contract administration experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, contracts administration, or legal operations role.
• Experience in construction, energy, EPC, or infrastructure environments strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Legal & Commercial Support: support internal counsel with document preparation, review, organization, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Support responses to contractual notices, claims, and project correspondence.
• Maintain organized legal and contract files (digital and/or physical).
• Support document management systems and continuous improvement of contract workflows.
• Assist with tracking insurance certificates, bonding, warranties, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with audits, information requests, and document retrieval.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with internal governance and corporate policies.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and tracking documents for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with claims management, including communicating with insurance adjusters and outside counsel as required.
