Farnsworth Group, a national architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, seeks a Paralegal to support the General Counsel across contracts, claims, insurance, corporate, and other legal matters. You will manage contract lifecycle, maintain contract management systems, review and redline documents, and assist with claims, insurance, and corporate records.

The role emphasizes organization, confidentiality, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate required.
• 10–15 years of paralegal or closely related legal-support experience.
• Minimum 5 years supporting architecture, engineering, construction, or professional-services organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the contract lifecycle including intake, routing, execution, filing and maintenance of various agreements.
• Maintain the contract-management system and ensure documents are accurate and accessible.
• Review, revise, and redline contracts and related documents.
• Support claims and claims-management activities, especially professional-services and construction.
• Track and maintain insurance policies, certificates, and endorsements.
• Assist with corporate records, governance materials, and filings.
• Coordinate legal department administrative activities including calendar and deadlines.
• Prepare, proofread, format, and organize contracts and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
