Nissan is seeking a Senior Paralegal in Franklin, TN, to support counsel on breach of warranty, lemon law, and consumer litigation matters. You will supervise outside counsel, analyze issues, and shape defense or settlement strategies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, ABA-certified paralegal certification, and 5+ years of litigation experience. Hybrid work arrangement, with in-office Monday-Thursday availability, offers ongoing professional development and advanced training.

Qualifications

Firm knowledge of state and federal judicial system, Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Evidence, and litigation strategy.
Excellent communication, influence and negotiating skills.
Ability to respond to multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
5+ years as a professional litigation paralegal.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
ABA-certified professional paralegal certification.
Familiarity with online legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.

Responsibilities

Under supervision of counsel, manages breach of warranty, lemon law, and consumer litigation and supervises outside counsel.
Analyzes issues and determines defense or settlement strategy.
Reviews pleadings and discovery and guides outside counsel.
Provides training to national and regional consumer affairs staff.
Acts as a knowledge resource for non-attorney staff and solves complex problems.
Contributes to brand value and profitable growth.
