We are looking for a Senior Paralegal/Entity Review Manager to join our team! The Sr. Paralegal/Entity Review Manager performs entity reviews for business purpose investment property residential mortgage loans to include Rental, Rehab, Bridge and Construction.

Lend Investors Capital is a nationwide private business purpose lender, offering innovative financing solutions to a wide spectrum of real estate investors, homebuilders, and mortgage Brokers. Loan products include options for Acquisition, Refinance, Bridge, and Construction financing, in the form of single asset loans and portfolio loans. Lend Investors Capital is headquartered in Puyallup, Washington, with regional sales teams across the country.

What You’ll Do:

• Reviews and analyzes entity documentation such as operating agreements, by-laws, trust certificates and/or certificates of organization/formation to determine if the entity proposed for the loan transaction is legally formed and represents an acceptable risk to serve as the borrowing entity.
• Orders and Reviews Entity Certificate of Good Standing.
• Reviews entity and Key Principals Background checks and OFACs to ensure acceptable risk.
• Coordinates any changes to entity documentation or requests additional documentation needed directly with the Key Principals of the borrowing entity.
• Works with the Key Principals to resolve any conflicts that may exist between the Lender’s requirements and the entity documentation.
• Prepares entity signature blocks for mortgage loan closing documentation.
• Works in coordination with Lender’s Outside Counsel and Closing Department to prepare appropriate closing documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 5 years reviewing and analyzing complex entity formation, organization, and operating documentation.
• Experience working for a Mortgage Lender, Title Attorney or Real Estate Attorney highly preferred
• Must have an expert knowledge of entity formation, organization, and operating documentation.
• Previous experience as a Paralegal or Attorney highly preferred.
• High School Diploma required – Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Candidate must be able to interact with Lender’s customers and provide outstanding customer service and problem resolution.
• Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
