Job Overview

West Coast Trial Lawyers is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Law and Motion Attorney to join our Employment Law Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed California attorney with at least 2 years of experience to contribute to a growing litigation team focused on impactful employment cases.

In this role, the attorney will be responsible for drafting and responding to a variety of substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment and oppositions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in legal research and writing and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and oppose motions, including motions for summary judgment
• Conduct in-depth legal research and develop persuasive arguments
• Collaborate with litigation attorneys to support ongoing employment law cases

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of California
• Submission of two legal writing samples

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in civil litigation
• Strong background in law and motion practice
• Experience in employment law is highly preferred

Education

• Valid CA Bar License
• Remote; Must be licensed to practice law in California.
