Latitude is seeking an experienced insurance regulatory and compliance paralegal for a contract opportunity with one of its insurance industry clients. Applicants must have 5+ years of property and casualty insurance regulatory and compliance experience. This is a full-time, remote position for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Basic Requirements for the Regulatory Paralegal:

• 5+ years as a regulatory and compliance paralegal
• Prior experience with property and casualty (P&C) insurance compliance and regulatory issues, including drafting and filing regulatory documents with state departments of insurance, is required
• Prior experience with general corporate governance issues, including entity management and supporting corporate secretary duties, is preferred
• Notary license required
• Experience working with the New York Department of Financial Services on regulatory filings is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced corporate environment

Position Details of the Regulatory Paralegal:

• Type of role: Contract Engagement (minimum of 3+ months)
• Schedule: Full-time (20-37.5 hours/week)
• Location: Remote (must reside in ET or CT time zone)
  
  

Compensation:

Pay : The annualized pay for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.

Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications and credentials.

Benefits : All Latitude legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
