Work Arrangement: Full-time, On-site
We are seeking an experienced Transactional Senior Paralegal with commercial real estate experience to support attorneys with commercial real estate and corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong law firm experience and the ability to manage transactions, closings, due diligence, title matters, and post-closing activities with a high level of accuracy and organization.
Minimum 5 years of law firm paralegal experience required.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
- Prepare and maintain transaction and closing checklists.
- Support commercial real estate lending and financing transactions.
- Prepare and draft documents required to satisfy title requirements.
- Review title commitments, surveys, and related real estate documentation.
- Perform title, survey, and zoning verification.
- Assist with issuing title policies and endorsements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis relating to real estate and corporate matters.
- Draft, review, and prepare contracts, agreements, leases, closing documents, letters of intent, and corporate filings.
- Coordinate real estate closings and communicate with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other involved parties.
- Handle post-closing matters and ensure documents are properly executed, organized, and completed.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential legal files and transaction records.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting real estate and corporate transactions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm.
- Knowledge of real estate law, title examination, due diligence, and closings.
- Experience supporting lending or financing transactions is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with legal research, case management, and document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work onsite in Orlando, FL.
