Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Palo Alto Integration Engineer to architect, implement, and sustain enterprise Palo Alto security capabilities for a federal client. The role requires active clearance or ability to obtain one, with primary work at a client site in Washington DC and approved telework options.

Responsibilities include NGFW design, Panorama management, and Prisma Cloud/SASE implementations, coupled with strong Zero Trust and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in network security engineering / firewall administration.
• Hands-on Palo Alto Networks platform experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with FedRAMP/ NIST cyber frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and engineering for Palo Alto Networks platform capabilities.
• Design and implement NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, Cortex XDR across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation and security policy baselines.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure alignment with federal security requirements.
