Job summary

United Global Technologies is seeking a Sr. Palo Alto Cloud Engineer to collaborate with product and security teams to design and deliver large-scale cloud solutions.

This role focuses on Palo Alto cloud firewalls and cloud architecture rather than development. Candidates should have a strong background in Palo Alto technologies, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and BIG-IP F5 LTM, with hands-on experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• College degree or 10+ years of experience as a Palo Alto Cloud Engineer.
• Holds one of the following certifications: Palo Alto, AWS, or Azure.
• 10 years’ experience in network security and engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on designing, deploying, scaling, upgrading Palo Alto VM-series firewalls in AWS and Azure.
• Experience with panorama management, security policy design, threat prevention tuning, and log analysis.
• Must demonstrate ability to architect zero‑trust controls using Palo Alto technology.
• 5 years’ experience in deploying, configuring and maintaining BIG‑IP F5 LTM.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Applications Owners, Network and Security teams to design and deliver optimal cloud solutions.
• This is not a developer role; focus on cloud firewall architecture and security.
• Contribute to architecture and design of large-scale app and infrastructure cloud solutions.
