Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Senior Staff Palliative Medicine Physician at Henry Ford St. John Hospital to serve a diverse patient population within a large, integrated Hospice and Palliative Medicine Division.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Completion of a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated self-directed, flexible, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an attending physician on the interdisciplinary inpatient Palliative Medicine Consultative Service, primarily at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, with some cross-coverage at Henry Ford Warren Hospital.
• Provide care one day per week in the ambulatory palliative medicine clinic at the Van Elslander Cancer Center.
• Teach and mentor rotating medical students, residents, and fellows
• Engage in scholarly activities including education, quality improvement, and/or research.

Education
