Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Senior Staff Palliative Medicine Physician to join the Division at Henry Ford St. John Hospital. You will work within an integrated, interprofessional team delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

This role offers opportunities in education, quality improvement, and clinical leadership across inpatient and ambulatory settings, with strong affiliations to MSU College of Human Medicine and Wayne State University.

Qualifications

• Initial board certification in a primary specialty.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Completion of a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and exceptional patient service.
• Self-directed, flexible, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician on the interdisciplinary inpatient Palliative Medicine Consultative Service at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, with some cross-coverage.
• Provide care one day per week in the ambulatory palliative medicine clinic.
• Teach and mentor rotating medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activities including education, quality improvement, and/or research.
