Responsibilities

• Hand brush, roll and spray paint university buildings, areas, equipment and furniture; hang vinyl and decorative wall coverings.
• Mix, blend and match paint and stains to proper color and consistency.
• Determine sequences of paint operations and methods including need for scaffolding; estimate time and cost for painting jobs.
• Apply trim to office interiors including trim striping and dado work.
• Design and paint signs of all types.
• Make work assignments; review work of lower level employees; assist in training new employees.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
