Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Paint Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the paint and finishing department.

You will lead a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications, while maintaining Panelmatic quality standards. This role partners with Production, Quality, and Engineering to keep workflows on schedule and to train staff in painting techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of industrial painting or manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating application.
• Experience leading a paint department or team.
• Ability to read drawings and production instructions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct painters in daily tasks.
• Prioritize work per production schedules and project requirements.
• Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and safety.
• Provide technical guidance on painting techniques and equipment.
• Ensure proper surface prep, masking, and coatings per standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering to maintain schedules.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance.
• Lead safety programs and PPE adherence.
