Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC in South Carolina seeks an experienced Manufacturing Project Leader to drive planning for automotive production and continuous improvement. You will lead cross-functional teams to optimize processes, ensure ergonomic and safety standards, and monitor project KPIs across Body, Paint or Assembly areas.

Applicants should have 5+ years in automotive manufacturing, with PMP a plus; language skills in Spanish or German are a plus. Expatriate candidates may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience; 2 years as project lead/manager.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Spanish and/or German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning for industrialization and manufacturing of automobiles to standards.
• Drive initiatives to optimize processes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and manage budgets and schedules.
• Develop and monitor production workflows, capacity plans and KPIs.
• Prepare acceptance reports and track remediation measures as needed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Maintenance Engineering or similar field
