Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (MBV) in Ladson, South Carolina, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead planning for body, paint, and assembly operations. You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to quality, safety and efficiency standards across the plant.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in automotive manufacturing, with PMP and cross-cultural collaboration experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Maintenance Engineering or similar field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant automotive manufacturing experience, 2 of which as Project Leader or Project Manager in Automotive industry.
• Certifications: PMP certification is a plus.
• Languages: Spanish and/or German are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan sequences of operations for complete systems and coordinate production work cycles.
• Coordinate production equipment, lead times, and supplier interfaces for value streams.
• Develop and reconcile project plans, budgets, and schedules; monitor progress against targets.
• Support procurement on technical issues; authorize changes and document decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
