Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC in Charleston, SC, is seeking an Engineering Production Planner 3 to define production sequences and drive improvements across body, paint and assembly shops. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Maintenance Engineering or similar.
• 3–5 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
• LEAN Manufacturing and ISO 9001 knowledge.
• MTM Blue Card is a plus.
• Spanish and/or German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define production sequences and lead optimization across Body, Paint and Assembly areas.
• Plan sequences of operations, layouts, material flow, and lead times to meet targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for packages of measures.
• Develop capacity and utilization plans; monitor asset investments and production times.
• Report KPIs such as line utilization and production efficiency.
