829 Studios is seeking a Lead Paid Search Strategist to lead a portfolio of enterprise clients within the Marketing Services department. This senior, client-facing role emphasizes proactive communication, thorough analytics, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive success.

You will mentor junior colleagues and may manage direct reports over time. You will strategize, deploy, and optimize paid advertising programs across platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and leverage

Qualifications

• 6–8 years managing paid advertising programs, preferably in an agency setting.
• Strong knowledge of Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
• Deep understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot Analytics.
• Familiarity with landing page optimization practices.
• Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager.
• Experience with reporting tools like Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience juggling multiple projects and paid campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, develop, and maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for enterprise clients.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness relative to client goals, conversions, and events.
• Provide regular client updates on digital initiatives.
• Prepare client deliverables from kickoff documents to rolling reports.
• Outline projections and forecasting for client executive teams.
• Advise clients on achieving business goals through digital advertising.
• Present to day-to-day client points of contact and executive teams, tailoring to levels.
• Serve as a technical resource to other departments and peers.
• Propose and implement departmental process improvements.
• Assist with candidate interviews and the hiring process; onboard and coach junior staff.
