Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is a performance marketing agency specializing in Meta advertising for Registered Investment Advisors. We seek a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, testing, and communications.

You will manage a portfolio end-to-end, lead client calls, translate data into recommendations, and drive retention and growth while collaborating with editors and leveraging AI tools for copy and creative development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointments.
• Monitor daily performance against costs and acquisition metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and adjust strategy.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks and messaging variations for testing.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development.
