Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, strategy, messaging, and reporting. This is a senior hands-on role managing a portfolio of client accounts end to end and leading client conversations.

You will write direct-response copy and VSL scripts, develop testing strategies, optimize funnels, and ensure retention and growth. Reports to the Associate Director of Operations and drives client success.

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on paid media experience with substantial Meta advertising responsibility.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations.
• Proven ability to drive campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills including ad copy and scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Monitor budgets, audiences, bid strategies, and account structure.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and implement improvements across funnels.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, and messaging variations for testing.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide creative direction.
