Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior PACS Consultant with deep expertise in AMAG Symmetry to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of an enterprise Physical Access Control System (PACS). This role requires leading PACS projects, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring extensive PACS experience, strong SQL skills, and proven ability to work with enterprise applications and APIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with enterprise PACS platforms.
• Strong hands-on AMAG Symmetry administration, implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with badge management, access provisioning, readers, controllers, alarms, and field control panels.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Experience integrating PACS solutions with enterprise applications and APIs.
• Experience supporting highly available, multi-site environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for PACS implementation and integration initiatives.
• Partner with business teams, vendors, and system integrators to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Support architecture, upgrades, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and long-term supportability.
