Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in De Soto, Kansas is seeking a Warehouse / Packaging Senior Technician for the third shift. You will contribute to daily production activities, label application, packaging, palletization, and ensure accurate documentation using GMP standards.

Flexibility for overtime and potential travel is limited. The role offers a pathway to contribute to biologics packaging improvements within a climate-controlled facility and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/Good Documentation Practices is implied by context.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily packaging production activities including bottle labeling and packing.
• Maintain schedule adherence and complete process documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in problem-solving.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack and assist with equipment setup and operation.
• Support training of new team members and ensure overtime coverage as needed.
