Job summary

Merck is seeking a Senior Warehouse / Packaging Technician at our Animal Health facility in De Soto, Kansas. You will contribute to daily packaging activities including bottle labeling, packaging, palletization, and cycle counting, while ensuring strict Good Documentation Practices.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to train new staff. Weekend shift Friday – Monday, 8:00am–6:30pm, with potential overtime and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant work experience OR
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.
• Experience following SOPs and GMP documentation.
• Able to operate MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle packaging operations: bottle labeling, bottle packaging, and palletization.
• Complete process documents using Good Documentation Practices.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and problem-solve on the line.
