Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Senior Specialist – Setup Mechanic in Clinton, Iowa. In this role, you will provide technical leadership on the production floor, ensuring reliable and efficient packaging operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting packaging equipment, leading changeovers, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing or packaging operations with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to promote compliance with safety and GMP requirements.
• Experience with thermoforming and cartoning packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Analyze in-process packaging data and participate in root cause investigations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and coaching of team members.

Skills

Strong packaging equipment troubleshooting skills

Mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate Degree in a Technical discipline
