Job summary

Amneal in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Set-up Mechanic to be the subject matter expert for packaging resources. You will set up, changeover, troubleshoot, and operate packaging and filling equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to GMP and SOP.

This night shift role offers 12-hour days on a rotating schedule, with every other weekend required, and includes incentive opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• GMP and SOP compliance required.
• Emergency or unscheduled repairs on packaging equipment.
• Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with operations on packaging schedule and changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bottle unscrambler/capper, adjust guide rails to bottle size.
• Install change parts and set up equipment; check and adjust the HMI for parameters.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect spare parts inventory.
• Support line qualification and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Assist other maintenance staff on special projects.
