Job summary

Elanco in Clinton, IN seeks a Senior Specialist – Setup Mechanic to lead packaging equipment setup, changeovers, and maintenance on the production floor. You will analyze data, drive improvements, and mentor operators while ensuring safety and GMP compliance.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise, with experience in packaging operations and cross-functional collaboration to enhance performance and reduce variability.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree in Technical discipline preferred.
• Experience: Experience supporting manufacturing or packaging operations with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• GMP knowledge and compliance familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Analyze in-process packaging data, investigate events, and participate in root cause investigations to reduce variability.
• Support continuous improvement through procedures review, change controls, and deviation investigations.
