Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with packaging concentration.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, process measurement and control.
• GMP practices, sanitary design, and OSHA regulations knowledge preferred.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or WCM.

Responsibilities

• Improve packaging operations, implement new technologies and retrofit equipment.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues, maintain quality, and optimize line efficiencies.
• Develop procedures to minimize setup and changeover time and cost.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting skills using continuous improvement techniques.
• Provide technical support for capital projects and start-ups; ensure safety.
