Job summary

Amneal seeks a Set Up Mechanic II in New Jersey to act as the subject matter expert for packaging resources. You will set up, changeover, troubleshoot and operate packaging and filling equipment while adhering to safety protocols, and perform specialized maintenance for reliability.

Responsibilities include assisting with line qualification IQ/OQ/PQ, managing spare parts inventory, and supporting other maintenance tasks as required. 5+ years in manufacturing/pharma maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Follow GMP and SOP guidelines.
• Adhere to safety/OSHA/FDA regulations in job duties.
• Provide emergency/unplanned repairs on packaging equipment.
• Perform minor troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Check packaging schedule and changeovers with operations.
• Install change parts and set up bottle unscrambler/capper machine.
• Adjust guide rails for bottle size and set up slat counter and powder fillers.
• Assist maintenance staff on special projects and equipment IQ/OQ/PQ.
