Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Set-Up Mechanic in New Jersey to set up, adjust, and maintain line equipment in a GMP environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, changesovers, and repairs to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing or pharmaceutical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing line machines per batch records.
• Conduct routine mechanical inspections and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on production and/or line equipment.
• Perform changeovers between different products or formats efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Perform track and trace activities on packaging equipment.
• Maintain Lockout & Tagout system and accurate logs for all setups and downtime.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment and room.
• Assist other maintenance staff on special projects and ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMP.
• Other duties as assigned.
