MSD is seeking a Senior Specialist Engineer to provide technical support for Wilson packaging and autoinjector assembly lines. The role includes equipment design input, qualification, process validation, and scale-up for production transfers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant industrial experience.
• Experience in Bottle/oral solid dosage form packaging
• Experience working in a GMP Pharmaceutical Environment
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
• Excellent analytical ability
• Proven communication skills. Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work under limited supervision
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot/resolve equipment issues

Responsibilities

• Scale-up and technology transfer of pilot processes to production at Wilson.
• Manage capital and expense projects for installation and qualification of new packaging and medical device assembly equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to packaging operations in resolving equipment problems including root cause analysis.
• Prepare technical documents supporting process changes and validate impact on quality and productivity.
• Support quality and regulatory activities including inspections and NDA/FDA documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of packaging process descriptions and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and train others on process engineering development activities.
• Review literature to identify profitable productivity improvements in packaging operations.
