Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with 8+ years of packaging engineering or related experience.
• Experience leading packaging development projects from concept to commercialization in a regulated environment.
• Experience developing packaging validation strategies and quality system deliverables.
• Expertise in packaging materials, technologies, processes, and product development methodologies.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for packaging and labeling innovation across development and operations.
• Lead design, development, validation, and commercialization of medical device packaging systems and assemblies.
• Establish technical strategies and best practices aligned with business goals.
• Serve as SME on cross-functional teams for packaging design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Lead material evaluation, sourcing, testing, qualification, and implementation.
• Develop and review design requirements, specifications, validation plans and reports.
• Drive investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for packaging performance.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across the organization.
