Job summary

The role requires 4+ years in packaging or related areas, with a Bachelor's in Engineering; a Master’s is preferred. Hybrid work: on-site four days, one remote day per week, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 4+ years of experience in packaging development or manufacturing.
• Experience developing technical documentation, engineering specifications, validation activities, and quality system deliverables.
• Knowledge of packaging development principles, materials, and validation processes in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement packaging components and systems for medical device products.
• Lead packaging development activities from concept to commercialization; align with product and business requirements.
• Evaluate, source, test, and qualify packaging materials to support performance and regulatory needs.
• Develop and maintain design specifications, validation protocols, and related quality system records.
• Serve as packaging SME on cross-functional teams; provide guidance on design and manufacturing processes.
• Support investigations and continuous improvement to enhance packaging performance and quality.
• Collaborate across Packaging Engineering teams to implement best practices.
• Apply knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations to ensure robust validation and qualification activities.
