Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Associate - Packaging Engineer for International Brands Pest Control. The role focuses on end-to-end packaging development across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, coordinating with global teams to meet market needs and regulatory requirements.

You will qualify new products, support line extensions, and contribute technical expertise to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in packaging engineering/science or related field with 4+ years of experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Proven experience in primary, secondary and tertiary packaging design and qualification.
• Experience with aerosols, liquids packaging, dispensing systems, materials, closures and manufacturing qualification.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own category packaging strategy for SCJ global brands from concept to design freeze.
• Turn consumer insights into measurable packaging outcomes and set Quality targets.
• Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and ensure actions with owners and timelines.
• Digitize packaging development, maintain PLM data integrity and simulate packaging performance.
• Define packaging design standards and playbooks for regional harmonization.
