Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Associate to drive packaging development for international consumer brands in Pest Control. You will own end-to-end packaging projects, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure designs meet safety, usability, and sustainability goals.

You will collaborate on global programs, manage PLM data and digital simulations, and guide qualification activities from concept through launch while coordinating with regional teams and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven technical competency in primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging design and qualification.
• Experience with aerosols and liquids packaging, dispensing systems, materials, closures, line requirements, and molding techniques.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and communication skills for technical presentations.
• Knowledge of e-commerce packaging design, Special Packs, and DOT regulations for hazardous goods.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities.
• Experience directing external vendors/consultants.

Responsibilities

• Own global packaging strategy roadmap from concept to design freeze with KPI tracking.
• Translate consumer insights into measurable packaging outcomes and safety/usability targets.
• Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and change control planning.
• Digitize development with PLM data integrity and digital twins for faster decisions.
• Develop packaging design standards and playbooks for regional harmonization.
• Drive global line-qualification strategies and post-launch learnings.
• Collaborate with global partners and manage key deliverables across time zones.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/transport labeling and regulatory requirements.
• Build supplier ecosystem and manage external vendor partnerships.
• Deliver cost-visibility, packaging optimization, and sustainability targets.
