Job summary

Spin Master seeks a Sr. Packaging Engineer in Los Angeles to design, develop and test structural packaging that aligns with brand objectives and project plans. You will lead packaging development, verify manufacturability, and drive cost reduction while collaborating with designers and global teams.

The role requires strong CAD skills (Artios-CAD, SolidWorks 3D) and proficiency with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. This full-time contract position is paid hourly and based in our LA office.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Artios-CAD and SolidWorks 3D for packaging design and development.
• Experience producing retail packaging concepts, assemblies, inserts, and pallet drawings.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for packaging artwork.
• Strong Excel skills for BOMs, costing, and project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test structural packaging to meet CSP and brand objectives.
• Lead development and evaluation processes, driving best practices in packaging.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and global teams to create cost-effective, innovative packaging.
• Create manufacturable die-lines, packaging specs, and update memos.
