Job summary

Spin Master is seeking a Packaging Designer for a contract role in Los Angeles, CA. The role is 4 days per week on-site, with a split of 70% execution and 30% new brand concepts on core licensed brands.

You will create packaging concepts, finalize artwork for production, and manage timelines under the Art Director and Packaging team, collaborating with marketing and engineering across brands and agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in the consumer products industry; toy package design preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat PRO.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Heightened creative and technical abilities including conceptual drawing or manual illustration.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging design concepts that support brand strategy.
• Produce final artwork and ensure production deliverable integrity.
• Manage project timelines and approvals.
• Maintain high quality, thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the Art Director promptly.
• Collaborate with Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control and Product Development teams.
