Mammoth Brands is seeking a Packaging Engineer in New York, NY to lead the development of packaging from concept to mass production. You will manage components, tooling, and processes while coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, high-quality packaging.

You will bring a BS in Package Engineering or related field, 3+ years in packaging design, and hands-on experience with 3D CAD (Artios/SolidWorks), TOPS Packaging, and Kongsberg tables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in design, testing and development of new packaging.
• Experience with a range of material properties and packaging components.
• 2D drawings to define critical-to-quality dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with 3D MCAD (Artios, SolidWorks) and TOPS Packaging software.
• Familiar with Kongsberg cutting tables is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with cross functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Bring passion for package engineering to daily work.
• Research packaging sustainability, trends, and innovations.
• Own packaging workstreams for qualifying components and tooling.
• Develop specifications and review CAD models, prints, and drawings.
• Collaborate with suppliers to design for manufacturing and test plans.
• Lead design reviews and drive packaging line trials and risk mitigation.
• Work with Production Artist team on color standards and production color ranges.
• Contribute to decorating/testing artwork and finalize specs for production.
• Maintain packaging component specifications and assembly instructions.
