Job summary

Mammoth Brands is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join the Packaging Engineering Team in our SoHo, New York City office. You will drive packaging development from concept to mass production, collaborating with designers, suppliers, and cross functional teams to deliver thoughtful, manufacturable packaging solutions that reinforce our brands.

You will own specs, run design reviews, and oversee trials, while applying experience with 2D/3D drawings, decorating techniques, and diverse materials.

Qualifications

• BS in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years designing, testing and developing packaging with various materials.
• Knowledge of pumps, closures, bottles, folding cartons and laminations.
• Ability to define critical-to-quality dimensions from 2D drawings and analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging concepts to mass production for multiple product lines.
• Own packaging workstreams, specs, testing plans, and production release.
• Collaborate with suppliers, cross-functional teams and production partners.
• Lead design reviews and manage line trials and risk mitigation.
• Establish color standards and work with printing/decorating partners.
