Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Senior Engineer within Packaging Engineering to lead and optimize packaging platforms for clinical-to-commercial products while ensuring regulatory compliance and scalable manufacturing capabilities.

You will partner with Product Development, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to deliver robust packaging solutions, support technology transfers, and drive lifecycle improvements across platforms and processes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree plus 2 years of engineering experience (or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of engineering experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 8 years of engineering experience.
• High school diploma/GED plus 10 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support technical assessments, test protocols, qualification activities, engineering reports, specifications, procedures, and change controls.
• Support technology transfers from clinical to commercial and site to site for packaging configurations, equipment, and processes.
• Establish priorities and manage project plans and dashboards to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to deliver packaging solutions.
