Job summary

mîrus Consulting Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer to lead packaging engineering efforts for pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing. The role demands evaluating, qualifying, and supporting packaging materials and components while ensuring GMP-compliant processes and robust documentation.

The position requires strong technical writing, project management, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, and suppliers to meet timelines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting packaging components and final product manufacturing within pharma/biotech.
• Strong technical writing skills and protocol development.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and industry standards (ASTM/ISO/EP).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for packaging components, systems, and processes used in final product manufacturing operations.
• Lead evaluations to select, qualify, and manage packaging materials and lifecycle.
• Develop and approve engineering protocols, test plans, and reports for packaging performance.
