Job summary

Interparfums USA, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Packaging Development & Sourcing to lead packaging programs for premium fragrance brands, drive cost savings and continuous improvement, and manage a team of professionals.

This role requires a technical background in packaging engineering, (7+ years) experience in fragrance/cosmetics packaging, and strong vendor collaboration skills, with a hybrid schedule (office Mon–Thu, remote Fri).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of packaging development or engineering experience within Fragrance/Cosmetics/CPG industries.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging solutions for up to two brands, providing feasibility and influencing manufacturability, COGs, investments, and lead times.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to define specifications, design criteria, quality parameters, and expectations from component production through filing and assembly.
• Recommend sourcing and supply chain strategy within a global portfolio of vendors.
• Ensure programs meet brand needs regarding design, quality, cost, functionality, manufacturability and on-time delivery.
• Evaluate risks and develop clear mitigation plans to the Operations team.
• Drive packaging innovation by presenting new concepts, technologies, and market trends both within and outside the industry.
• Support ongoing business to ensure stock coverage.
• Coach and develop direct reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
