Qualifications

• 9+ years of progressive experience in packaging systems, material handling, or industrial facilities design.
• High School Diploma and related technical education.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and Inventor or similar tools.
• Experience leading or independently executing complex packaging layouts.
• Ability to interpret scan data and point clouds; travel 10–30%.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging and material handling systems including conveyors and layouts.
• Produce CAD and 2D/3D deliverables; develop PFDs, P&IDs, and construction packages.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers.
• Support project execution, scope development, and schedule coordination.
• Lead site visits for data collection and verification; present design deliverables to clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Apply constructability, safety, and operational considerations throughout design.
