Job summary

Sol de Janeiro in New York is seeking a Manager, Packaging Artwork & Execution to translate approved packaging concepts into production-ready artwork and ensure brand integrity, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity.

This role owns governance, standards, workflows, and final-file readiness, collaborating with Packaging Design, Engineering, Regulatory, Product Development, Supply Chain, Production, Master Data, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Graphic Communications, Project Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in packaging artwork/operations in beauty or CPG.
• Experience managing artwork development from concept handoff to production release.
• Strong understanding of packaging print processes and color approvals.
• Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory artwork requirements and packaging change management.
• Excellent PM, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading and developing direct reports.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
• Hybrid work environment; in-office three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Packaging artwork development and commercialization from DTO to production release.
• Establish scalable artwork workflows, approvals, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with external artwork agencies and print partners.
• Oversee post-launch artwork changes and BOM updates with relevant teams.
• Lead workload planning, resource allocation, and team development.
• Own budgets related to packaging artwork operations and contracts.
