Job summary

Sol de Janeiro, headquartered in New York, seeks a Manager of Packaging Artwork & Execution to translate approved packaging concepts into production-ready artwork. You will own governance, standards, workflows, and final-file readiness to ensure brand integrity, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity.

You will collaborate with Packaging Design, Engineering, Regulatory, Product Development, Supply Chain, Production, Master Data, and external vendors to deliver high-quality packaging artwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a packaging/engineering/related field.
• 8+ years in packaging artwork, operations, or related functions.
• Experience managing artwork development from concept to production release.
• Strong understanding of packaging print processes and color approvals.
• Experience managing external artwork agencies and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory artwork requirements and packaging change management.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading and developing direct reports.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Hybrid working environment; must be willing to be in the office three times per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-Design Turnover (DTO) phase, translating concepts into production-ready artwork.
• Own artwork execution standards, workflows, governance, and final release processes for commercialization.
• Build scalable artwork workflows, approval systems, and documentation standards.
• Ensure artwork assets are organized, archived, and audit-ready.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and print vendors.
• Coordinate BOM updates and phase-in/phase-out timing with Production.
• Lead and develop internal packaging artwork resources and manage workloads.
• Own budgets related to packaging artwork operations and identify cost improvements.
