Job summary

The American College of Cardiology in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr. Specialist, PAC & Grassroots to support federal advocacy, HeartPAC, and grassroots engagement initiatives.

You will collaborate with members, volunteers, and internal teams to strengthen advocacy programs, coordinate legislative communications and events, and manage PAC operations. The role also serves as a liaison between ACC members and congressional offices, helping mobilize advocacy efforts and promote the College's public

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of three years of grassroots advocacy and/or PAC experience.
• Federal legislative or health policy experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with ACC members and other medical societies.

Responsibilities

• Support federal grassroots and PAC programs and related communications.
• Strengthen advocacy efforts to benefit cardiovascular specialists and patients.
• Assist with planning ACC’s annual Legislative Conference.
• Attend Capitol Hill briefings and represent ACC in public affairs.
