Job summary

Carlow University’s College of Health and Wellness seeks a full-time, 12-month faculty member for the PA program at the Oakland campus in Pittsburgh, PA. The role emphasizes instruction of PA students, leadership within the program, and commitment to interprofessional, inclusive education.

The ideal candidate will hold an MPAS, possess PA licensure and NCCPA certification, and have at least 5 years of PA experience, plus 2 years teaching in PA settings. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

• PA license and NCCPA certification required.
• Master's degree in physician assistant (MPAS) required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time PA experience.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in PA programs or clinical instruction.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise PA students in a 12-month program.
• Provide leadership within the PA program and contribute to curriculum development.
• Mentor students and facilitates interprofessional clinical experiences.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and service.
