Qualifications

• Doctorate required (DNP, PhD, EdD, or related degree).
• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Eligibility for Pennsylvania State Professional Nurse licensure as an APRN.
• National PMHNP certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as academic and administrative leader of the PMHNP program.
• Provide oversight for PMHNP and PMHNP post‑master’s certificate offerings.
• Teach in Nurse Practitioner core courses as a graduate faculty member.
• Engage in service and scholarship.
• Develop and mentor program faculty.
• Recruit and retain students to meet enrollment goals.
• Address student concerns and conduct grade appeals.
• Collaborate with department chairs and other program directors to deliver current curriculum.
