UC San Diego Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Inpatient Blood & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) service. You will provide primary medical management for oncology/BMT patients, lead rounds with the multidisciplinary team, and perform specialized procedures such as bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture.

You will educate patients and families, help develop divisional policies, and participate in research and community outreach.

Competenze

• Graduate from an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program.
• California PA license and NCCPA certification.
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to obtain ART within six months.
• Minimum one year of oncology/BMT-related experience as PA.
• Knowledge of BMT/CAR-T and hematologic cancers.
• Strong professionalism and teamwork; ability to teach and engage in community outreach.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Provide primary medical management for oncology/BMT patients.
• Perform bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, and skin biopsy.
• Present patient cases during rounds and weekly BMT Clinical meetings.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; contribute to policies and procedures.
• Participate in research and community outreach; may work outpatient at Moores Cancer Center.
