Job summary

University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support the Department of Plastic Surgery. Hours are Monday–Friday, typically 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts, with an optional weekend off-site shift.

Location is UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore with travel to Bethel Park. The APP will assist in the OR, run high-volume clinics, manage complex hand trauma, soft tissue extremity and facial trauma, wound care, and

Responsibilities

• OR assist and run high-volume clinics for hand trauma, soft tissue extremity, and facial trauma.
• Manage wounds, drains, and sutures; coordinate care with surgeons and teams.
• Run independent clinics for post-operative patients.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, APPs, nurses and admins.
• Support care delivery with collaboration and professional practice.
