Qualifikationen

• Master's degree required for PA
• Active PA license and DEA registration required
• ARC-PA and NCCPA certifications required
• Prescriptive authority per MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
• BLS certification required

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive care for plastic and reconstructive procedures from consultation to follow-up
• Collaborate with Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons in an academic medical center environment
• Work four 10-hour shifts per week with no nights, weekends, or call
• Position is 100% on-site
• Clinic duties: evaluate patients, follow-ups, education, treatment planning
• Assist in OR for breast reconstruction, gender-affirming and other procedures
• Coordinate care and surgical workflows; guide patients through treatment
• Perform history and physical exams and order tests
• Document encounters clearly and timely
• Consult with physicians for complex diagnoses and care needs
• Educate patients and families
• Serve as a resource for staff and participate in seminars
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office
